MUMBAI — In a shocking incident, a 35-year-old taxi driver met with a fatal accident in Wadala when a heavy iron plate weighing nearly 40,000 kg (40 tons) fell from a trailer and crushed his vehicle. Jameer H Siddiqui was driving his car near Khar Ganda Jal area on Sewri, Chembur Road under the Eastern Freeway. He was returning home after a day’s work when the accident took place.
